Magnificent Seven Attend Launch In London
When George Best and Tom Finney, two of football's greatest players, are seen together in the same room you know there is something special taking place.
And when you discover Nat Lofthouse, Alan Ball, Gordon Banks, Pat Jennings and Jim Baxter are there as well it has to be more than just anautograph- hunter's dream.
In fact, they were the magnificent seven on parade in London to launch the International Football Hall Of Fame last November.
It was no surprise that the player who came top of the poll was Brazilian star Pele - but the irrepressible Best was not far behind him.
Almost 500,000 of you, from 110 countries voted for the first batch of entries into the Hall Of Fame, and we would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your vote, and hope that you will join us again later in the year to elect more players into the Hall of Fame.
